Project Plan

The proposed project vision consists of 108 single-family homes, 770 multi-family homes, light-rail station relocation, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, community garden and event center, child-care facilities and a central parking garage.

 

The project plan will continue to evolve after further technical studies and discussions happen with neighbors, the greater community, SMUD and the City of Sacramento.

The Vision

The contemporary neighborhood vision for Sac59th will be transit-oriented, mixed-use, and community-centric. It will offer a variety of housing options including single-family homes, multifamily residential units, retail and commercial space, community amenities, and open spaces connected by a network of sidewalks, paths, and bikeways.

 

Sac59th will transition the former SMUD Corporation Yard into a vibrant community within East Sacramento.
